The Blind Pig was a popular name for speakeasies during the 1920s in the United States as many establishments would charge customers to see an attraction, such as an animal like a pig and then serve a “complimentary” alcoholic beverage, thus evading the law. These attractions evolved into animal races which provided entertainment for patrons, similar to our modern-day live sports bars today located in Hong Kong.
The Blind Pig, emphasises an inviting casual drinking environment making guests feel transported into the prohibition era. This neighbourhood ‘speakeasy’ is destined as a neighbourhood favourite. The décor and signature cocktails transport guests back in time to
America’s notorious Prohibition era.
