Katherine is a 2012 graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design with a B.F.A in Fashion.
A gestural interpretation of fashion, Katherine’s unique sketching style earned her recognition within the SCAD School of Fashion. Her drawings have been showcased at the SCAD Museum of Art, the SCAD Fashion Jury Show, and can been seen in the 2011 SCAD Style Video interview of Derek Lam as well as on the garments of her senior collection.
In 2011 Katherine was one of a select group of senior design students to be selected to the SCAD Style Lab Mentorship Program. Working one-on-one with mentor William Calvert, Katherine received professional guidance throughout the creation and production of her Senior Collection.
Though her collection would not be featured in the 2012 SCAD Fashion Show, pieces of it would be seen attending worn by a SCAD professor and the Chair of the SCAD School of Fashion.
With the completion of her degree program, Katherine remains in Savannah; she plans to be in New York by the end of summer.
