Jane Gardner is pursuing her BFA degree in Communication Design at Parsons the New School for Design in Manhattan. Her work focuses on print design, illustration, photography, and interactive design. Currently, she is working as a design fellow for Barack Obama’s 2012 Re-Election Campaign as well as the Vice President for GraphicDesign.com's first ever Student Council. Jane has designed album artwork for Rough Trade Records, t-shirts for the international clothing company Love Cupcakes, as well as graphic illustrations for Downtown Magazine NYC, among various other projects attained as a design intern and freelancer. Jane is an avid lover of the 1950s and enjoys discovering vintage advertisements and typography during her time spent buried in design books and blogs. Her favorite typeface is Futura and she loves to spend time with her bulldogs.
