Bumper and speaker announcement series created for the Panic Room event's 7th edition, taken place in Amsterdam 17.05.2013.
The original concept behind the project was to visually align the branding of the night with the objectives of the Panic Room itself, where an event picks the most twisted and brilliant international creative minds to share the inspiration behind their work.
During the process I've shot some Amsterdam location footage as a basis, built and projected back in 3D, and attached the graphic elements on the cheeky-rebel dynamic brickets that are bumping out from the rest.
This is a personal re-edited short version for publication, the original series were used as a loop sequence also with a different audio.
About the event:
The Panic Room, held by hybrid production company PostPanic, is one of the more inspirational events organized in Amsterdam, we know of. It always invites a handful of the most twisted and brilliant international creative minds to share the inspiration behind their work. Past speakers have included Vincent Fournier (FR), Aaron Duffy (US), Si Scott (UK), Niels Shoe Meulman (NL), and HECQ (Ger). This edition features cheeky Dutch director/artist duo Lernert&Sander, minimalist Norwegian music video/short film director Kristoffer Borgli (check out his recent Real Life Exp. short film) and LA-based director Andrew T. Huang (who turned heads last year with his beautiful Solipsist short film and has since directed Bjork’s latest music video).
