Senior CollectionPrairie No. 1935
This senior thesis, pre-fall collection tells the story of a girl trapped in the midst of a drought, but ever inspired by her surroundings. She uses bits and pieces mother nature has left behind, to fashion a wardrobe that mirrors her deep connection to the land, with a surprising sense of luxury. While employing elements such as vintage hungarian feed sacks, natural dyeing techniques, corn husks, embroidery, and hand knitting, she tells her story with a ruggedly feminine point of view.
