With the constant threat of global warming and depleting levels of fossil fuels it has been necessary for the human race to look beyond the confines of its own planet to power the future. The answer to our energy crisis resides with the moon, or rather, on it.

A precious resource known as He-3 has been found in huge quantities on the surface of the moon, this derivative of helium can be used in nuclear Fusion, Fissions cleaner, younger brother. In Fusion no nuclear waste is produced, the only byproduct of Fusion with He-3 is helium. The resource is imbedded in the surface of the moon, the entire crust has acted like a giant sponge, absorbing the element from the sun. Countries are readying to send explorers and miners out to gather and return it to Earth, as it is incredibly valuable, each shipment would be worth in the region of $75 billion and could produce enough energy to power America for an entire year.

The task therefore was to brand this company and figure out how it would interact with its customers. Going on the pretence from science fiction that everything from space is somehow tainted or dangerous I felt it was a good idea to make the company as human and approachable as possible. It still needed to have an air of proffesionalism but it couldn't be to stand offish. The miners who would be going to the moon would be celebrated, although as ordinary hard working indiviudials, not reality tv celebrities. The tone of voice needed to filter all the way down from the copy on the poster campaign through to the bill you receive on your doorstep.
