(The poster wraps around the invite and folds out to reveal a poster,
double-sided: one side landscape, the other portrait in commemoration of the event).
My chosen theme was Wimbledon and the charity "Make-A-Wish" where the top twenty male and female players would be invited to a evening banquet held before the summer tournament. Each player would sign a pack of tennis balls at the event, with two being auctioned off to members of the public and two being given to children within the foundation.
My design aimed to capture both the feeling of the tournament and the charity in a way that would appeal to either target audience, hence the floral pattern and the simplicity of the design. My colour palette consisted of purple primarily since this is a big part of the Wimbledon branding. All aspects and drawings were hand rendered and die-cuts made by hand.
