The Uganda National Cultural Center, formerly known as the National theater is a National statutory Body Dedicated and committed to the preservation and promotion of Art and Culture in Uganda.
The body is well remembered for naturing uncountable talents in this nation through Art and Culture.
 
The people associate much with this institutional Body, and always Gather around, to watch and appreciate Various Works of Art ranging from Music, Dance, Drama, Painting and so on.
 
As a Designer Creating A brand that would Bring a bigger impact to the entire country focusing on the core Elements of Art and Culture, is one of the great opportunities i have recieved, and i am glad to share with you Today
Color has a powerful effect on the human mind. The primitive instincts some colors can trigger 
might not even be evident to us on a conscious level. 
 
 
Below are the colors chosen
 
 
 
Brown
Brown Is a color of the soil where we all came from, more to that brown is the main color of the Drums Being an instrumental tool, or instrument that symbolizes our culture.
Yellow
The color of the sun, associated with laughter, happiness and good times. A person surrounded 
by yellow feels optimistic because the brain actually releases more seratonin (feel good 
chemical in the brain) when around this color. It has the power to speed up our metabolism and 
bring out some creative thoughts. Some shades of yellow are associated with cowardice; but the 
more golden shades with the promise of better times.
 
 
 
Orange is the color tied most this fun times, happy and energetic days, warmth and organic 
products. It is also associated with ambition. There is nothing even remotely calm associated 
with this color.
 
 
I chose a color between Yellow, and Orange to have a balance between , laughter, happiness and energetic as well
Coming up with the Icon i focused one major symbol that definitely brings out the culture element as soon as some one sets an eye on the Logo.
 
an icon of the Drummer with the Head formed by the Three colors of the Ugandan Flag, symbolises A ugandan who is focussed at sounding the Cultural Drum so that the whole world can Gather to experience more about culture in Uganda
The Colors of the Flag have a center of origin.
 
The Sun Rays totally represented the Sunrise. having every New day starting with alot of energy and joyfully exploring more of our Art and Culture.
 
it  was very crucial to include the year it started and also give it a prestigious representation thus its bold presence.
I chose the Slant Type Face as a representation of togetherness. A sign of Team work that leads to victory at the end of the Day.
 
the museo font chosen as well as  a second font is a font that symbolises strength and firm placement that can’t be Shaken.
As a result of Creaitng a new Drection and also realising some of the elements in the previous Logo the New Logo Is revealed Below.
With Color Themes it can Be placed on and as well as arrangemenets.
