Ue pavilion is a one day installation done by Ruzica Jovanovica master student of architecture at the university of Belgrade.

The pavilion was situated in a small town in Serbia, Uzice, which has an Art Secondary School. However many of the students attending thisschool never had a chance to exhibit their work before. So the main idea of theproject was to create an installation with no budget, with only the material wecan collect or find, and to create an exhibition space that would attractattention to these emerging new talents.
By creating this alternative art space we have created anevent, where the students that exhibited their work were stars, but also everypasserby who wished could draw something and exhibit it here.
Both the building of the pavilion and the process ofdecomposing it were a sort of a spectacle in itself.
By making the gallery space with only used materials, thatwere decomposed without destroying and that will be used again for anotherproject, this art space-event promotes the idea that we don't need moneyinvested in a project, we don't need any legal support, the only thing we needis initiative and people who will support it... everything else can beimprovised.
