Chen Guangcheng is a man of courage, a fighter who never gives up. The only thing Chen is blinded by is ambition.
Today we celebrate his freedom, now that Chen and his family have fled to New York, where he will study Law. He has been locked up since 2005 in Shandong for fighting for human rights, and forced abortions.
What is it like for Chen to see what he doesn’t see? Where did he get all the courage to fight for human rights, let alone his life. He is missing what we define
a vital sense yet he has done things people with perfect vision are unable to do.
