The 'Saxon'
the Saxon was designed for a client and now has its home at Thorp Perrow Arbetoreum, Harrogate.
The waney edged table top had been made from 2inch thick English Oak and the legs made from 3 inch thick catpaw Oak. The frame work is made from steel. The fine details of the table are the Bronze leaves that have been inlayed in the table. I cast 3 Oak leaves and a Sycamore leaf to adorn the surface of the table. there are two draws at either side of the table with beautiful waney edged drawer fronts. The table has been located in the bothy with previous work of students.
