The brief was to design the book cover and end pages for one of a selection of books. Book jacket and end pages are hand illustrations based on my interpretation of the book The Day of the Triffids.
Braille alphabet has been used with the image of a mysterious mutant creature on the book jacket design in order to present the theme of the unknown and the concept of blindness included in the book.
End pages show designs inspired by the Rorschach's psychological test to emphasise the chaos and loss of sanity that the victims of the Triffids are subjected to.
