This project is about the current period in Greece. There is nothing stable, nothing safe, there is insecurity and fear everywhere. No money, no jobs, no future for anyone. We are the ones that will make our future and we are the ones that will make it happened. There is no such thing as Greece. We killed it. Everything is a lie and everyone fights against all of us. We keep the future in our hands, but we need help.
My work is a compilation of 3 songs of the Greek music composer Manos Hatzidakis. His album “The Street of Dreams” is a musical inspiration of changing our world. I took sounds of the streets of Athens during riots, protestations and marches from the last years. Everything that you will listen will be a mirror of our unwelcome Greek reality. Welcome.
