In Siberia each rock is hiding a small secret.
But the big ones rest in Tunguska.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
_ Every year on June 30th, we come together to eat and talk.
_ First we silently eat.
_ Then we talk about what had happened.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
_ We all grew up with secrets here.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
_There are some things one can be certain of about the event.
_The night sky remained bright.
_ Approximately 60 million trees fell down in the shape of a butterfly
_The blast wave of the explosion made the transsiberian railroad tremble on its newly constructed tracks.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
_ Perhaps Nicola Tesla did have something to do with it after all.
_ The newspapers wrote he was a dreamer and impractical inventor.
_ He was building a radio tower in Wardencliff, New York entirely made out of wood.
_ With this he wanted to pursue his theory of free energies.
_ Perhaps they realeased something unexpected on the other side of the world.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
_ The transformers could have prevented it all!
_ Or Godzilla!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
_ When we were younger we thought or grandma was a swan girl.
_ There were legends about swans that turned into girls...
_ as soon as they set foot on the ground.
_ I think grandpa took her wings and she had to stay.
_ She never stopped searching for them.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
_ Natural gas might have escaped its underground bed.
_ It has lots of kinetic energy and is flameable.
_ It approached the sun and formed crystals.
_ And that‘s where it caught fire.
_ Following its own gas trail back it hit the forrest with full force.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
_ Mom used to tell us stories about Genghis Khan and his horde.
_ We too wanted to be wild and free like him. We only wanted to sleep outside from then on.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
_ As a child I lived with my parents in Moscow.
_ They told me one would turn into a blue wolf...
_ if only one did enough somersaults.
_ Later I realized that most boys rather wanted to turn into a воры в законе a „thief in law“.
You didn‘t need any summersaults for that.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
_ I once had a bad dream as we were sleeping outside.
_ A man came out of Lake Checo and called out for mom.
_ She left for Saint Petersburg the very next morning.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
_ Jelena, Jakow – your mother used to accompany your father on the hunt.
_ They stayed away for several weeks.
_ Fur seems to satisfy a deep desire in us humans.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
_ My mother believed in the old powers.
_ She said the Evenki angered Ogdy, the god of thunder.
_ In order to appease him the gave him sacrifices.
_ Even today his curse is on the land and my mother forbade me to ever set foot on it.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
_ My father used to threaten that the Tschulugdi would come and get  me if I didn‘t behave.
_ The man-eaters.
_ Judging by the way the adults talked about the camps I assumed they had to be the kingdom of the Tschulugdi.
