Sound and Hearing. | Timelife book
The intent of this project was to redesign of the book Sound and Hearing , from the Life Science Library. The world of sounds and the sense of earing are the subjects of this book. I found it very appealing to redesign the subject of sound because it allowed me to create a visual language of an abstract matter. The two chapters I have chosen to redesign are the ones focused on the musical information, noise and how human beings understand it. The book presents an increase in volume through each chapter; as it progresses it becomes louder (more colorful). The image and type treatment are an abstract interpretation of how sound creates environments.
