Instead of creating just a display website, i try to put an idea to the website to make it more interesting.

Hear The Music, Express The Story
The website is a promo site for the Music Festival sponsored by a brand. It's a festival that features indie artists, targeting the hipsters, yes the hipsters.
It's a platform for the fans to interact with the artists, it's a media tool to promote the event, and also a contest page.
The idea is based on the understanding on how music and lyrics give strong influence to the young generations. Many teenagers use songs as the source of their inspiration, especially the hipsters. Along with the popularity of Instagram as a tool to express their daily life, my idea is to let the fans, the teenagers to use this simple tool that they already use everyday to show to the world how a song affects them in expressing themselves, their stories.
It's a simple contest where the fans can join simply by using their instagram to upload a photo expressing their favorite song and tag it with some pre-set tag based on each artists, and the most popular photos will get the benefits such as getting the ticket for free, or get a chance to meet the artists. This way, the fans can let the artists know how fans are inspired by the songs in different ways, fans can express themselves with something in return, and at the same time it also promotes the festival itself.
As an additional, every week, the artists will select their most favorite photos submitted by fans, and the selected photos will be printed in a name card size, and delivered to the fans. The fans can share their personalized cards with their self-produced photos on it. Who wouldn't share a card with their artwork on it, chosen by their favorite artists?
