This was my concept for the forthcoming show held by the artist Katja Davar at the Newlyn Art Gallery. Davar works with basic equipment, pencils and paper and not much else, she is heavily influenced by data and her pieces usually communicate some sort of abstracted information design. The title of her latest show and the themes from her work lead me to this concept; based on the idea of plotting your location and the placement of all things. The programme acts as a map for the gallery, folding out into a large floor plan with the art pieces placed in their geographical location. The other material replicates this feeling, the poster is made from the location of the members who were invited and visited the gallery during the show. The poster would primarily be used as a post event piece of print to celebrate the event with the public making their mark on the map using the online form.
