S-e-e-d | Generative Transmedia Identity

Seed is a Transmedia piece including a 204-pages-book, posters and a spacial installation about artist Fritz Haeg and his work. Its generative identity reflects the artist’s philosophy in taking small increments, towards a better environment.
The spatial piece pattern was coded using Processing and a Bownian tree algorythm. The more people were close to the tree, the more its fractal blossomed. A Kinect sensor was used to track the number of people around the tree.
The generative typography was coded in the same manner, as if each letter was planted on the screen, and you had to sit and watch its branches grow.
The letter "d", took 3 hours to mature into its shape below.
