Concept:
Соnciseness and accuracy, simplicity and expressiveness are very important features of proverbs and sayings. They are very close to the concept of the sign. So, it is logical to assume that proverbs can be visualized like signs in graphic and objects. Many proverbs and sayings contain numbers, such as: "Seven have their spoons, but one have small fry" (≈There are too few workers and too many idlers), "Three times bent in the ruin", "If you run after two hares, you will catch neither" (≈Grasp all, lose all). The figure has conveyed meaning ofproverbs. Figures are present on posters and objects. In some cases figures are the basis of an object. Also figures are used in typography.
The project contains 10 posters based on photos of the objects and two light objects.
Главное в пословицах и поговорках –их сжатость при необычайной меткости, простоте и выразительности. По своим свойствам они приближаются к понятию знака. Таким образом, логично предположить, что пословицы и поговорки могут быть визуализированы посредствам знака, как графического, так и знака-объекта. Многие пословицы и поговорки содержат числа, например: «Семеро с ложкой, один с сошкой», «согнулся в трипогибели», «за двумя зайцами погонишься, ни одного не поймаешь». Цифра стала средством передачи смысла пословицы. Так или иначе, она присутствует в объектахи графических листах, либо, являясь основой объекта, либо используется в типографике, нанесённой на объект.
