Music poster for DNA - by Ryuichi Sakamoto
The song is to me monotonuous, clinic, calm, empty, sad, and clean. Some places in the song there's broken tones, breaking up the calmness. I wanted to express this in the poster.
The music is also quite typical Japanese, and I wanted to include this aswell, without making the whole poster totally Japan. Therefore I started experimenting with origami, Miura Ori and paper tesselation.
The finished poster is a folded A3 paper sheet, folded and creased, and folded etc. When it was done I destroyed/disorted it and photographed it from different angles.
