This is a linocut featuring the mythical Ouroboros. Instead of basing my design on traditional ouroboros depictions, I used the armadillo lizard as a reference, since it curls up and bites its tail when firghtened, looking much like an ouroboros. Here are three prints in three different color variations.

The background was cut out to allow different colors. In this case, it was only embossed.
This is the second variation, with a golden background.

The use of different colored inks, mostly black/dark on the figure and lighter on the background are kind of obvious just looking at the plate. This proves to be an efficient way of printing more than one color without using the press more than once per print and without the need of more than one plate.
