Night of Museums - Let there be light
Project done for The National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Historical Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Ars Aevi. The whole project started in December, 2011 when The National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina was to be closed for public because of extreme neglect of government. By photographing exhibits in the museums at night using only a flashlight, we wanted to show the general state of decay of the cultural heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Shutting off the lights symbolizes the shutting of the cultural life of our country and the testimony of its existence. Later on, Historical Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina was closed, and Ars Aevi was to be evicted from their property. On the international Night of Museums, 2012 we created posters and video to inform the public of an ongoing problem.
