Museum of Modern Perception Logo and Exhibit Book
For the fictitious museum I created a logo based on the perception of continuity. When stacked one on top of the other, the two 'M's are two pieces of the same letter form. The eye passes the break in the structure to focus on a single M. When separated however, the two 'M's can be visualized within the logotype.
For the exhibit I imagined one on the Crop Circle Phenomenon, delving into the history, theories, hoaxes, and solutions that scientists have come up with today. This "Anatomy Of:" book could be purchased at the museum shop perhaps, and is a part of a continuing series by the museum
The cover, spine, and back cover are letter pressed with a series of small pictographs that are scattered throughout the book. I created these representations of the crop formations from the early 1990s mostly, as these continue to be the most inexplicable and captivating.
