As an outgoing Visual and Dance enthusiast who loves funk music culture and dance, i did a photojournalism on the ‘Lion city lockers’, a locking dance community
based in Singapore since 2008. Through the journey of photographing the lockers and also interviewing them, i had a deeper understanding of what the whole ‘family’ is all about. It was my first time photographing dance and it was a big challenge as there were constant movements and no one stops for you. In this photojournal, i wanted to capture the culture and mood of the Lion City Lockers.
