‘History of black stone’ is a dedicated for children, 68-pages book. The main character and narrator is
Karbon – a friendly coal. Karbon tells the story of coal in a very approachable way for a young customer.
Between short chapters are interesting links to encourage you to visit sites of industrial tourism.
The whole book is kept in black and white colors. Illustrations were drawn with pencil and charcoal –
a technique close to the book. Text has been printed in two fonts: Antykwa Toruńska (created by Zygfryd
Gardzielewski, digitized by Janusz Marian Nowacki) and Silesiana (created by Henryk Sakwerda).
