Chopsticks are one of the most widely used utensils in the world. Yet the plastic casing they often come in are not only bad for the environment, but are aesthetically unpleasing. Therefore, Foodtogo™ was created with three main goals in mind:
1) To be aesthetically appealing and creative
The packaging is based on three Asian countries: China, Japan and Korea. The colours are based on their national flag, and the characters inside are designed according to the past history and culture.
2) Sustainability
Since most of the packaging is made from fabric, it can be rewashed and reused. Fabric is also a durable material that lasts a long time.
3) Multifunctional.
The package is designed to have a second life after its initial use. Aside from storing chopsticks, the front pockets can be used to store other stationaries and eating utensils such as spoons, forks, scissors, etc. The bag also has a handle and can be used to carry small groceries or longer objects such as water bottles.
