Fedrigoni Competition BriefThe project was based on the competition brief from Fedrigoni. the main points from the brief were to promote the paper company's new colour range called imaginative colours. Any kind of promotion would be sufficient but it had to be aimed at designers.
The idea i came up with was a paper plane contest between design agencies. The idea being that the top 200 agencies in the UK are designated a colour from the imaginative colours range. A pack of 6 varying paper samples are sent to each company in their designated colour. The company has to pick the right paper for the plane and design a plane style that will fly the best. Then they upload the video and compete against rival companies online.
The idea is that it is a bit of fun and companies would want to take part to beat their rivals in real life. Also it promotes the paper styles and tactile nature because everyone gets a chance to feel the paper. There are online extras such as the app to get practice in and the website where it all goes down. The plan is that it would all come to a finale event where everyone involved is invited and prizes are given to winners etc.
