Description
Environmental Graphics for an exhibition about Ed Ruscha's 'Twentysix Gasoline Stations'.
  • During my second year I was given a brief to create environmental graphics on a art related subject. I decided to base my project on Ed Ruscha. After thorough consideration I chose to call my exhibition 'Travelling Imagery'. The reason for that title was that I decided to base it on the book, 'Twentysix Gasoline Stations'. The book featured photographs of Ruscha's journey down route 66.

The posters below are presented as transparent as I wanted it to symbolise the life captured in the individual photographs. For the exhibition, I created the two posters with differing compositions, a floor plan, exterior signage, flyers and a introduction booklet.
