Ads to Promote Their In-House Varietals and Blends
After creating a series of illustrations for Lubbock's D'Vine Wine, I decided to create a set of ads as part of my senior portfolio course. The idea behind these ads centered on an art gallery. Each of the twelve illustrations were created for wine blends named after common idioms (Teacher's Pet, Tough Cookie, Sitting Duck, Basketcase, Chatterbox, etc.). I saw how these illustrations could be associated with real people, characters in our lives who aren't simply defined by titles. My aim with the photography was to be humorous and memorable while showcasing the new available wines.
