I have been wanting to bring this project to life for a while now. I had this idea of drawing various childlike characters and putting them in various situations. Their face expressions would provide them with a personality of their own and I would love them with all my heart. (♥)
So here it is. While working on these I was looking to improve my style by experimenting with colors, textures, patterns... I also tried to capture feelings - the essence of the human spirit.
As always, it all started with sketches, which were then scanned and turned into illustrations in Adobe Illustrator.
