The Center for Visual Art is an off-campus art gallery owned by Metropolitan State College of Denver. They produce exhibitions by national and international artists while also incorporating Metro State’s BFA Thesis show’s twice a year. Their focus is to celebrate the artistic community both on campus and throughout the Arts District on Santa Fe.
I am currently the CVA’s In-House Designer, I am responsible for the creation of marketing content that is produced throughout multiple print and digital platforms. Part of my job was is also to work with their Education Outreach programs such as Art Builds Communities, where I have helped teach workshops and give lectures.
In addition to graphic responsibilities I am also responsible for customer service, art installation, and administrative/clerical duties. I am an incredibly valuable asset to the Center for Visual Art.
