It was a challenge and fun to design something for ones own band in order to help give the band a more professional appearance. This project turned out to be a significant upgrade on our previous approach to our band's identity and compliments the bands music in a more effective way. We wanted a consistant overall image, but didn't want to be limited by one style, so I incorporated a gig-poster aesthetic along with some dry humour and also vector and full-bleed photographic images, all complimented by versatile typography. The typeface (Eurostile) used for the logo of the band was chosen for it's neutrality and contemporary edge while retaining a hint of it's retro past.
