My brief was to create an artefact for the youth market (aged 18 - 25). It needed to be environmentally friendly and available in different colours with a strong shelf visibility. In response to this I created BBQ BOX. A portable, affordable, steel barbecue including wooden tongs, tea lights and matches. I also included an illustrated note explaining how to prevent the wooden tongs from burning using salt water and information about sustainable charcoal as an environmentally friendly alternative to unsustainable coal.
