Art with Arp
Challenged with the design of a gallery invitation hosted by a museum applicable to the artist of our choice, I approached Jean Arp's work with a playful state of mind. Jean Arp's woodcut work is predominately freeform shapes that look like they could be unhinged and swung about. Applying this observation to the invite, I continued with the same aesthetic when designing the letterforms. Each letterform may swing clockwise and counter-clockwise to reveal layers of information about the event.
