Ampersands In Nottingham
Devils in the detail. I based my project on ampersand signage around Nottingham and took my own photographs around the city. The brief of this project was to bring attention to mundane things that people don't necessarily notice, during their everyday lives. Things that appear all the same, but have small differences when looked into in detail.
an endless amount. I ended up taking over 90 photographs of ampersand signs. Now, I can't stop seeing them everywhere I go!
I edited the photographs in ToyCamera Analogcolor to create a lo-fi effect and created a postcard collection and a poster. I designed the packaging to fit the style of the postcards, creating potential gift ideas.
