A Cozinha de Leonardo
The purpose of this proposal is to develop an editorial project based on the texts of inventions and recipes by Leonardo Da Vinci on cooking and sitting at the table, described in Codex Romanoff. In the context of this project, the objective of the book "A Cozinha de Leonardo" (Leonardo's Kitchen) is to make known a compilation of texts, recipes and hilarious technology recovered in time.

For the job, the target audience in mind is the "hipster". It is someone who drinks tea while working in a little-known cafe downtown, who is fascinated with the classic with a touch of contemporary, who likes to differentiate himself despite being part of a very specific group. He prefers to appreciate what no one knows.

Thus, it is necessary to take into account the attributes that constitute the hipster and try to incorporate and reproduce them in the graphic object, as well as the environment in which the object would ideally be found:
A simple, clean, dynamic and sophisticated atmosphere of a cafe or restaurant, with the table book "A Cozinha de Leonardo", ready to be discovered, flipped through, and the main subject for a conversation, to avoid awkward silencein dead and uncomfortable moments.
Bearing in mind the target audience, it is necessary to incorporate graphic elements that unite the lifestyle of a "hipster".
The main concept of a hipster focuses on the classic, personalized, unique, inimitable (the old), with the contemporary, refreshing, innovating, niche (the current).

In this way, we opted for a book with an exposed spine, bound with pressed cardboard, but having a core that referred to the contemporary era, with stimulating colors and inviting illustrations.
The illustrations are based on the titles presented throughout the book, creating fragmented letters that reference laminated vegetables, cut with great speed and grace by those who really know how to cook.

Due to the continuity of the book, small traces of "vegetables" are found accompanying the text that refers to the behind the scenes work, the place of office, the kitchen. The exception is the spread dedicated to "O Códex Romanoff de Leonardo da Vinci", which, acting as an introduction to the rest of the core, has illustrations to pre-position the reader to the rhythm of the book.

The core is separated by paragraphs. Each paragraph break creates a new block of text, which alternates between a more horizontal or vertical text box.
