Watercolour - Old Ahmedabad city

Of Ruins and Decay

The Ahmedabad old city is a place to experience decay. During my short stint of visiting faculty at National Institute of Design I was a regular visitor to the old city area where everything is falling apart. Once a vibrant place it has become a mere shadow of the past, yet amidst hustles and bustles life moves on. I am showcasing some postcard size watercolours from the series – the images of ruins and decay.
