The Fabric Wanderers
Exhibition, Christo and Jeanne-Claude
This was an assignment to create an exhibition poster and a limited edition item for an exhibition that we were asked to curate for our chosen artist. My selected artist were Christo and Jeanne-Claude. Christo and Jeanne-Claude are environmental artists, that deals with large scale projects involving fabric and the environment.
The duo, are always on the the go, moving and putting up exhibition at different places and interestingly once the exhibition was over nothing was left behind. The fabrics used were recycled. It's as though they were nomads coming and going, leaving no traces behind, thus the idea came about to introduce them as 'The Fabric Wanderers'.
