Concept

My Client wanted an illustrated poster for the city of Bordeaux, France. One of the most famous landmarks in Bordeaux is the Pont de Pierre, the "Stone Bridge" or the Masson Bridge. It connects the left bank of the Garonne River to the right bank quartier de la Bastide. The Bridge and the Bordeaux river were illustrated to depict the city of Bordeaux.

Process

The print was done entirely in illustrator. I illustrated the bridge and the river using a photograph as my reference. Even though Bordeaux's river is usually brown, and I actually made a brown version, I ended up preferring the blue version for the river.
