Matthaus Passion

The assignment was to create a publication on Bach's Matthaus Passion, using the German lyrics as well as the Dutch translation. I created a booklet with folded pages; the left half meant for the German lyrics and the right half meant for the Dutch translation. I used the colors purple, (light and dark) grey and the color of the paper to keep it as minimalistic as possible. The color purple is associated with, among other things, the time before Easter. The booklet is bound with three nails, linked with Jesus' crucifixion. Symbols from the text are used to illustrate the booklet.
