Meet the carefree & swashbuckling lad, Milo Soulfiend! Milo is a tiefling, a psychopomp and a pirate captain. An explorer by heart and a silver tailor by tongue, Milo guides souls to the afterlife and sometimes puts them into other objects for them to live anew (like Scerf, the marigold "scarf" on his waist). His getup in this scene doesn't scream "sea captain", because I wanted to portray him before he got his sea legs. Optimism & wonder are the traits that I liked most about Milo's character and I hope I captured it in this illustration.
