I have always had a rather stereotypical idea about fashion models and about their attitude in particular. Seeing photos of them wearing fancy clothes, standing in elegant postures with confident facial expressions makes it easy to believe that they are like that in real life and are pretty much unreachable for a non-professional photographer. This is the way I imagined it until I have met Antonieta.

Maria Antonieta Astacio Perez – a young lady from Dominican Republic, based in Turin (Italy), with genes of a fashion model and an undeniably interesting appearance. Maria is unexpectedly friendly, exceptionally easygoing and very independent person. Maybe even too independent at times. And like for any person, her life is not always a piece of cake and something bitter might be hiding behind her lovely smile, because in the end, for better or worse, even fashion models are just humans. But that part, as well as her smile, is not for everyone...
