What makes a rainbow become the icon of our time in isolation? That which is immaterial and supported by light; not quite the metaphor of front line activists of the NHS. Or perhaps it is; perhaps they are the children in the Age of Aquarius, in awe at the magical mystery of life and death; shadows that fight to become light. The prismatic association triangulates the essence of a god that merges the end with the beginning, doctored for us to believe that we are at the mercy of the unknown.
