I've been bingeing a lot of shows on Netflix since the lockdown started. Alright alright, even before that I suppose. I don't know if it's only me but I get severely obsessed with anything that I watch and like. One of the shows that really caught my attention recently was "MIDNIGHT DINER: TOKYO STORIES".
It's a whimsical show set in a diner in Tokyo which is only open from midnight till the dawn and the Master (the chef) cooks anything the visitors demand (as long as he have the ingredients). The visitors are ofcourse a great mix of interesting characters. They bring us their backstories, usually associated with the Japanese food. And boy, will you get hungry looking at them eat everytime.
I picked a few dishes from the series and tried to draw them. See if you can spot Ramen, Corn Dog, Sticky Rice, Tonteki, Plum Rice Balls, Shochu, Sake and added a few other Japanese food I'm fond of.
Alright, time to make some instant Ramen.
