Appropriation Painting to Reflect Modern Times

Project 3 - Appropriation painting: A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte
Project description: This is my appropriation of "A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte," meant to reflect the change that's taken place in modern times. This was my first attempt at digital painting, using Photoshop entirely. Credits due to the appropriated artwork: George Seurat, "A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte," 1884, oil on canvas.

The digital painting is my work, appropriated from the original painting of course.
Below is the image that I chose appropriate along with my initial rough sketches of how I might do so in a way that would reflect the current situation of completing this project via online classes due to COVID-19.
Initial line work done in Photoshop:
I began color blocking, then adding more details slowly with watercolor brushes, and then ending with adding overall effects to make the digital painting look more authentic as an oil painting, closer to the original painting.
