Palo Duro Canyon (which is a Texas state park) is also known as “The Grand Canyon of Texas”. It not only looks a lot like it, but it’s almost as big. Palo Duro Canyon is the second largest canyon of the USA. 

 

We spent a week RV camping down here. While I was making fun about camping in an RV with AC at first, I later realized it was more than necessary. Because of the heat, we went hiking in the morning and I spent the rest of the day editing pictures. The thermometer told us we had about 120 degrees Fahrenheit around 9.30 a.m. While I’m not sure about the accuracy of that, it did feel like it!
