PT.: 55mil Km é um livro de short-storys, que contêm histórias de vida de 10 pessoas, que deixaram o seu país, em busca de algo melhor. A paginação deste livro teve por base os caminhos percorridos por essas pessoas e a ideia de um mundo sem delimitações. Assim nasce um mapa fictício, sem fronteiras ou barreiras, que nos acompanha desde as folhas de rosto até ao índice do livro. Outro aspecto que influenciou fortemente a paginação, foi o modo como os textos estão escritos, sendo estes a transcrição "crua" e impactante dos testemunhos. Assim temos páginas, sem rodapés, cabeçalhos... com muito espaço em branco. Sem enfeites ou artifícios, tal como os testemunhos, verdadeiros e reais.

The book pagination was based on the paths taken by these people and the idea of a world without borders . This is how a fictitious map was born, without any barriers. This map is a the index and in the title pages. Another aspect that strongly influenced the pagination was the way the texts were written. These are "raw" and impactful testimonies transcriptions. So we have pages, without footers or headers... with a lot of white space. Pages whitout embelichements or distractions. Pages like the testimonies, true and real.
PT.: Para a paginação do livro optou-se pelo uso de setas, com uma direção associada a cada conto. Assim o leitor percorre um caminho, o percurso das personagens. | EN.: For the book pagination, were used arrows, with different directions. Which one associated with each story. This way, the reader follows a path, the path of the characters.
