I have always been passionate about linguistics. Their complexity, genealogical relation, and influence on civilization intrigue me. However, languages are more than just words in a dictionary. They consist of rules, norms, and cues that vary from one language to another. Knowing the basics is essential to facilitate interaction between native and non-native speakers.
I illustrated and art directed the book. I also wrote some of the content based on my personal experiences. This book served as the foundation for a campaign to educate people about the importance of language and how to communicate effectively with people from different cultures.
