Zurich is located at the northern end of lake Zurich and is the largest city of Switzerland. What many people don't know is that the alps are not all to fare away and can often be seen when the weather permits. The cities ideal location allows for easy access to the lake that tourists as well as locals can fully enjoy. A city with almost 2 thousand years history dating back to the first Roman installations along the river Limmat, has in the past few years seen a massive real estate boom with new projects sprouting up in the west end of the city. It doesn't compare to London or Paris, but Zurich is a city with lots of charm and a very relaxed atmosphere.
