Typography Day 2013
IIT Guwahati in collaboration with IDC IIT Bombay
Typography Day organized for the sixth time in 2013 at the Department of Design (DoD) at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT Guwahati) in collaboration with the Industrial Design Centre (IDC) at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) with support from India Design Association (InDeAs) and Aksharaya.
The theme for this year’s event is ‘Display Typography’. The event featured a day of workshops on Typography and Calligraphy followed by two days of conference dedicated to display typography.

Being Part of IITG department of Design,I Coordinated many post and on spot teams In which Installation was one the major one. We experimented with all the material available to cut down the cost of the whole event. We used everything around from used paper cups to induction tubes of air conditioning chamber. It was a great experience managing a team of enthusiastic design students. Brainstorming to collecting material to stitching ,cutting and installing it over night
